05/08/2015 : Sparkling Summer Sale

In these days of internet bidding we are always delighted to see a packed audience in the saleroom and once again our August sale attracted bidders from far and wide. The highest selling single item on the day was a real ‘sparkler’ of a white gold & one carat diamond solitaire ring which sold for £1500.

A good selection of jewellery followed with gold charm bracelets selling for £800, a gold bracelet set with garnets made £400, a 22ct gold bangle £360 and a Stuart Devlin silver cruet set went under the hammer for £360.

A full furniture section featured a beautiful pair of George III carved mahogany elbow chairs in the style of George Hepplewhite had the bidders queuing-up, and proving that quality shines through they sold for an excellent £620.

A comprehensive private collection of pharmaceutical items were a feature of the sale with the highest price of £380 being realised by several chemists jars and we made ‘no bones’ about a human skeleton which sold for £460.

The next sale in Liverpool is on the September 2nd when we have a specialist photographic & optical instrument section, for more information on this or any enquiries please contact the team on 0151 709 8070
