11/10/2017 : October Sale Highlights
Highlights from our October Maritime auction
We had another busy sale last week, with some great results!
We had not one but two Siebe Gorman divers' helmets in this sale, each selling for £2,000 and another hightlight of the Maritime section was a pair of portholes from the SS Laurentic which sold for £420.
The highlights in our jewellery section include this beautiful early 19th century ring with enamel eye miniature which sold for £940 and a white gold sapphire and diamond ring which sold for £1,000.
Our ceramic lots did well, with a collection of handpainted Worcester items far surpassing their estimates - including this Worcester vase painted by John Freeman sold for £900 and a Royal Worcester vase and cover painted by Frank Roberts which brought £640.
Elsewhere in the sale this fantastic Elephant designed by Eduardo Paolozzi brought £660 and a silver four-pice tea service brought £720.
Our next sale is November 1st - Antiques & Collectors' Items with Rock and Pop Memorabilia
The deadline for consigning items is Wednesday October 18th.
We hope to see you there!
