Some star lots from our Rock and Pop auction
Our furniture section got the auction off to a flying start with this Ercol studio sofa selling for £540, a late Victorian/Edwardian mahogany salon sofa and chairs selling for £340 and a William IV mahogany window seat bringing £300.
Our jewellery and watches sections also did well, with this beautiful 18ct white gold Art Deco solitaire ring bringing £920, an 18ct gold beaded necklace selling for £980, a vintage Heuer gentlemen's wristwatch reaching £720 and a Bulova wristwatch selling for £520.
Our Rock and Pop items were unsurprisingly some of the stars of the show, with this first pressing of Led Zeppelin's self-titled first album selling for £600 and a signed copy of 'God Save the Queen' by the Sex Pistols bringing £600 as well.
Elsewhere in the sale, this large lustre vase by Julia Carter Preston sold for £760, a blonde loggerhead turtle carapace brought £800 and a flintlock musket fetched £640.
