09/03/2017 : March Sale Highlights

Highlights from our March Oriental auction

We had another brilliant sale last week, with a great selection of Asian and Oriental items, as well as extensive collections of Worcester, Caughley and Royal Worcester ceramics. The highlights of the auction were these Japanese Meiji period bronze and gilt-heightened figures of warriors - one carriying a spear, the other a bow and arrow, which reached £1800 and £2050 respectively.

Another fantastic result was this elegant 18ct gold cased half hunter pocket watch by the American Watch Company, which sold for £2000.

These beautiful William De Morgan tiles sailed past their estimate to reach £1650 and this fantastic early 20th century Cadbury's Chocolate cabinet melted buyer's hearts to reach £700.

Our next auction is our Maritime sale on Wednesday 5th April at 10am, we are consigning goods up to Wednesday 22nd March for this auction.
