 It’s almost time for the first auction of 2019 with lots to include Jewellery, Silver, Furniture, Clocks, Paintings and Prints, Decorative Arts, Collectables, Ceramics, Glass, Coins, Militaria, Sporting Memorabilia, Oriental and Asian Works of Art, Watches and more.


Rolex 


We’re starting the new year off in style, with some beautiful jewellery and watches for you, including this ladies' Rolex Oyster Perpetual Datejust wristwatch (lot 488), a c.1960s gentlemen’s stainless steel wristwatch by International Watch Company (lot 491), a George III hallmarked silver pair-cased fob watch (lot 490), a 9ct gold Masonic square and compass pendant (lot 462) and a gentlemen's 9ct heavy curb link bracelet (lot 457).


Furniture 


Our furniture section is well-represented, with highlights including this Regency mahogany chiffonier (lot 1), a George III double D-end mahogany dining table (lot 14), an early 20th century pine elevated bookcase (lot 30) and an Ekornes Stressless wave suite of four high back recliner sofa chairs (lot 65).

We have some beautiful pieces in our Ceramics and Decorative Arts sections, including this painted terracotta figure, 'Jeanne D'Arc' by J Dupré for Goldscheider (lot 276) and a c.1930 Lenci figure of a girl in culottes (lot 219). We also have a South Lancashire landscape oil painting by Robert Tonge (1823-1856) (lot 334) and an oil on canvas ‘Maternal Cares’ by Gertrude Jameson Barnes (1865-1939).


Polyphon 


Elsewhere in the sale, we have this 19th century walnut and inlaid 15.5" polyphon with 22 discs (lot 167), a cased set of sixteen gold proof miniature coins from 'The World’s Finest Gold Miniatures Collection' (lot 414), a late 19th century gilt brass eight-day clock garniture by Cahoon Bros. of Belfast (lot 154) and a small group of Indian silver items bearing the Warner Brothers silver mark of Delhi, comprising a three-piece coffee set in the Art Deco style and a gadrooned piecrust edge silver card salver (lot 449).
