Antiques and Collector’s Items with Rock & Pop Memorabilia

It’s time for our May auction with lots to include Rock and Pop Memorabilia, Jewellery, Silver, Furniture, Clocks, Paintings and Prints, Decorative Arts, Collectables, Ceramics, Glass, Militaria, Sporting Items, Coins, Oriental and Asian Works of Art, Watches and more.


We have some brilliant items of Rock and Pop memorabilia for you, including this Led Zeppelin's self-titled first album (588171) first pressing (lot no. 564) and many signed records including Nirvana ‘Bleach’ (lot no. 558), The Sex Pistols ‘God Save the Queen’ (lot no. 554), The Rolling Stones ‘The Stone Age’ (lot no. 549) and more.


We also have over 120 lots of jewellery up for auction, with this lovely 18ct gold necklace being one of many highlights (lot no. 758) and there are plenty of rings to choose from including a beautiful Art Deco solitaire ring (lot no. 699).


Our Art sections are also well-represented, with star painting lots including this oil on canvas of Mary Magdalene in the style of Guido Reni (lot no. 430), a watercolour by William Hunt (lot no. an oil on canvas attributed to Albert Pinkham Ryder (lot no. 449) and two bronze figures by Stephen Broadbent (lot nos. 382 & 383). There are also watercolours by Edward Carter Preston (lot no. 468 and 469) and a vase by Julia Carter Preston in the ceramic section (lot no.271).

There are some great lots for the coin collectors amongst you, including a Spanish doubloon (lot no. 602), a George I silver crown dated 1716 (lot no. 603), a George III spade guinea, 1798 (lot no.604) and several sovereigns.

Watch and clock enthusiasts will also be pleased, as we have watches by Longines (lot no. 817), Omega (lot nos. 819 and 832), Heuer (lot no. 820), Cartier (lot no. 833) and more, a clock and garnitures by Japy Frères (lot no. 148) and a Jaeger le Coultre Atmos mantel clock (lot no. 139).

 There’s also a large collection of vintage telephones and radios, early Marvel comics, a blonde Loggerhead turtle shell, annotated scripts from the late, great Ken Dodd and lots, lots more!
