A very rare 1896 Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants Crisis medallion, with circular centre and cruciform surrounds, issued by the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants to Brother W Potts for loyalty during the LMW Crisis of 1896, where 60 men were dismissed but later reinstated at Wigan, silver with gold central medallion depicting a steam locomotive engine and with presentee's name inscribed on the gold scroll verso, height 4cm including bail, approx 24g.
