A WWII period RAF uniform comprising war service dress blouse, size eight, the interior label stamped with broad arrow mark and manufacturer 'C.W.S Ltd 1945', the arms with RAF patches and chevrons, a matching pair of trousers and cap with RAF cap badge, also three loose chevrons and a contemporary canvas belt with stamp to interior, also a contemporary leather suitcase and collar box, all owned by RAF serviceman William G. Edwards.

Lot Number: 462
A WWII miniature medal group comprising War and Defence Medals and 1939-1945, Atlantic, Africa and Italy Stars and Merchant Naval Service Medal awarded to Captain Richard Jones M.N. of Anglesey and a small archive detailing his service. Captain Jones commanded the ship 'Henry Stanley' and left the Mersey November 28th 1942 headed for South Africa, the ship was torpedoed by a German U-Boat and the ship went down in 45 seconds. Captain Jones was the sole survivor and was captured soon after by the Germans, spending twenty-four days aboard the U-Boat and later interred as a Prisoner of War for two and a half years. Captain Jones had previously been torpedoed when commanding the Dixcove when it was attacked by a U-boat and sunk off Madeira, in which he sustained serious injuries. For his service during this incident, he received a King's Commendation for Brave Conduct in 1946.

Mason of Birkenhead, who served on the Robert L Holt Line, comprising boxed WWII set of War Medal and Atlantic, Burma, Africa, Italy and 1939-1945 Stars with ribbons and paperwork, bullion work epaulettes and three badges including Guinea Gulf Line example and a number of buttons for Guinea Gulf Line and John Holt & Co, Liverpool, all housed in vintage leather collar box and a model ship in light bulb, signed 'Robert L. Holt Captain S. E. Mason', also three miniature life belts marked 'Florence Holt, Liverpool', 'Robert Holt, Liverpool' and 'Jonathan Holt, Liverpool'.

A good quality and well-detailed scratch-built and hand-painted wooden model of RMS Titanic, as built by William Richard Jones, on rectangular plinth and housed in custom-built mirror-back glazed display case, length of model 108cm, the display case approx 121 x 44.5 x22.4cm. The model was constructed over a four and a half year time span.
